Only show this user. #1 · Jun 25, 2011 (Edited) Hi All, I've been looking for a pair of Holley 600 CFM carbs for an upcoming dual quad project 460 I'm building, when I came across these "New and Improved" Holleys with Non adjustable float bowls. I'm taking a guess these are not anything I'd want to run, but I would like to hear other opinions ...Holleys are rated in cfm and four-barrel carbs range in size from 390 cfm all the way up to the monster Dominators that can flow up to an astonishing 1,475 cfm. The carb on the left is a Quick Fuel 650 cfm with vacuum secondaries, while the monster on the right is a 1050 cfm Holley Dominator. Once you put it back on, you can fine tune the float level, but it should be pretty close.On the primary I can insert a 5/16 inch bit under the outside end of the bowl before the end curve. On the secondary I can insert a 3/8 inch bit. So the primary end float setting is higher which goes along with my theory.
