Many of our LSYO musicians also participate in their schools Honors Music Programs such as All State Orchestra and Bands, Senior/Junior Regional Orchestras, and All County Honors Orchestras/Bands. LSYO rehearsals take place from September until May. During the 2024-2025 season, the orchestras rehearse on the following days: Sundays

Sight-Reading 3-Octave Scales Students may be asked to perform all major and (melodic) minor scales up to 3 sharps and 3 flats in 3 octaves (2 octaves for bass).
