Today I was driving down the highway at approximately 65-70 mph, and out of nowhere, a number of warning lights came one. The check engine light came on. The X mode light came on and blinks.It says nothing about the possibility that Eyesight might be disabled by a loose gas cap. It would have been easy enough for Subaru to say that, but they didn't bother. Moreover, it's not at all clear why both Eyesight and cruise control should be disabled by a loose gas cap. That's an emissions control issue.

At our little "Subaru Class" when buying the car last year the guy said something about not touching the stereo cameras on either side of the rear-view mirror. We haven't, but now we are getting EyeSight disabled (and all the fun functions that go with it).The disable turned off three times today, and was raining the first time, so no sun.
