I did not know this until I was talking to some interested passers-by at SHOT and I said they were hammer forged.

Before you buy a JRA Rockola, ask for photos of barrel alignment, specifically feed ramps being centered properly was an issue I saw twice. I bought 3 of them when they first came out, with custom serial numbers. I also helped some of my friends get theirs ordered with custom numbers as well. JRA is great, Rock-ola receivers are made by Bula Forge for JRA and are probably the best option on the market right now. If you can afford a rifle built from USGI parts on a forged receiver, definitely do it. If not, the M1A will be fine, and when it breaks SAI is supposed to have a great warranty. 4. Reply.
