It basically involved a star base a the center of the map, with ten successive waves of ships coming from the edges of the system to attack it. Five defenders with two ships each will attempt to destroy all the waves coming into the system. Trying defend an attack with a miner is a lost cause. Don't even bother trying it. If you REALLY want to mine ISO with a Meridian [which you should] you have to plan on watching it the whole time. The Meridian is NOT your typical set-it-and-forget-it miner. Any PvP crew that doesn't depend on ship abilities.

The ideal Goal is to have the Attack, Defense, and Health of your ship all at 300% (normally max, as noted 350% max for Vi'dar). Once you hit 300% in one category, anything above and beyond that does not help you (except for abilities that utilize a given stat, i.e. Bev Crusher). So what you want below deck is basically high stats.
