Jun 14, 2008 · Uh the V8 bellhousing bolt pattern is different then the I-5. U can use your trans, but you will have to get a truck or F-body trans case and swap guts. YOur best bet is to get an engine/trans pull out and the harness and mounts from CPwire. Mounts and harness will run you about $1200, and figure in about $1500 labor.

The stock 4l60e won't work behind an LS unless you change out the bellhousing/torque converter and input shaft.
