If one simply must teleport, one option would be to build a relay teleporter at the obelisk closest to the ultimate destination to shorten the distance. Well, Corrupted Vitality is good for the first 9 levels. The Grotesque Excrescence perk heals more than the Fierce Vitality. Other than that, not worth losing the Fast Healer perk.
