A positive (let's hope anyway) is thick, blue, can be faint or dark, and appears within the ten min time frame!! Blue dye tests tend to have more of a visible dent in the strip, which can be mistaken for a faint positive as it starts to dry. I've personally also had blue dye tests just do totally weird things. That isn't to say pink dye tests are never bad or invalid, simply that they were always my preference.
