N20/B48 swap 2008 E92 320i. I am just curious if it would be possible to engine swap a 2008 E92 320i with the more modern turbo N20/B48 engine. I bought the 4 cylinder because it is my daily driver and don't want to spend a ton on gasoline but it just lacks torque. I already got a tune but that did not really make a difference.

The stock CAI on the B58 is pretty damned good but unimpressive in sound and appearance. I have the Eventuri CAI and have absolutely no complaints. Intake hisses and snorts sound like a fighting bull, looks incredible, easy install and well made. Also a 20 min swap to stock if concerned about dealer warranty.

Going to need to use software to clear CEL or somehow disable the monitors from running. There's tons of forms with people saying they bypass the CEL with a 90 degree o2 spacer.
