A good high damage variation is Ermac lift, exploding corpses and screaming souls. At 1:56, you can see ninjakilla getting a 50% combo with it and there’s a few more in that video that are 40% plus. it’ll take quite a bit of practice to get used to doing those cancels though. 1.The Kapow move variation is the most combo heavy one but keep in mind players can breakaway from your combo. Clown Prince in a heartbeat. In my personal opinion anything other than boing and batsy poo cancel work. Other than that all of his variations work pretty nicely.Explosive corpses, shake and slide seems pretty good as well. I usually use slide, lift, and shake. Ground eruption is great but I like to keep shang closer for pressure. It depends on how you like to play. The "Best" is Ground Eruption with either Shake or Slide.
