The purpose of emudeck is to simplify the process of getting, installing, and configuring emulators as well as making a folder structure that makes it as simple as dragging and dropping those bios and roms to the proper ones. It makes the process and simple as you can without outright giving you the bios and roms.

The problem was that I didn't have EmulationStationDE installed through EmuDeck so the appimage was missing for SteamRomManager to parse.
