Every crew that I've ever been on has talked about it at one point or another, usually when another meg is attacking us. The rarity has turned it into a legend. There are 2 commendations for killing the Shrouded Ghost, one as a regular pirate which you can get any time, and the other is "Legendary Hunter of the Shrouded Ghost" for defeating the Shrouded Ghost 1 time as a Pirate Legend. i've gotten megs back to back in the span of roughly 30 minutes more than once. Thats a meg another crew fleed from. the closest method to being able to "spawn" a meg is the shores of gold method. Thats one of the 2 ways a meg fleet works.
