To be honest 2h weapons are pretty shitty in Elex 2. I would recommend 1h playstyle. You can easily spam light attacks and dodge freely while applying negative effects on enemies (poison, electrocute etc.) + if your companion is tanking you can easily backstab enemies to deal devastating damage.
