I experience this issue with regular Xbox one and Xbox 360 controllers, but I dont experience it with the Xbox elite series 2 controller. It has to do with usb drivers, so ymmv. I found that lowering my mouse's polling rate to 125 from 1000 significantly reduced the lag kick. it still reduces it, but it only drops about 10 fps, which is regained in surplus by disabling the 60 fps cap. though that makes my card run a little hotter than I like.
