Also get a 003941.14 at times. Both require the mower to be shut off and restarted to clear. Seems to start after mowing at least an hour.

I've just run the machine for about 10 mins at temp and full throttle with PTO engaged (no mower) and is dry underneath. The only thing I could see it being is the clutch plates, or output pump. Another cause would be excessive heat from the engine, muffler, overload, or bad bearing. The Deere part number for the coil is AM38624 if it is indeed as described above.
