6. Mar 11, 2004. #1. My mercury 150 XR2 Black Max had sit for about 6 months, when I cranked it I had no stream coming from the little tell-tail port. I replaced the impeller and it seemed ok. Well it sat for about another 6 months, so really maybe an hour of running during that time, and now I started it a couple of days ago, it was running ...I have been fishing it as is but it will need to be fixed at some point. Good deal for someone mechanically inclined or who has access to a parts motor. I can add cash to a trade. The part number for regulator is 88825A 7 and it should have it own harness, if you dont have harness it should be marked on rectifier case. red to red on rectifier and yellow to either yellow stator lead.
