A high reving/low torque motor wouldn't be my 1st choice for an engine swap into a 4x4. Best gear it low (5.13s?); 7.5 wouldn't be in danger from a SHO motor. And personally, I would stay with M5OD-R1. M5OD is stronger transmission than T-5 (doesn't shift as nice though), and bolts up to your transfer case.

Nothing is a really easy swap outside of a like-year 4.2. You need the transmission as well for either Triton, plus the driveshaft for a 5.4 if you want the beefier 9.75 rear as well. You will have to splice away to make an Exploder 5.0 work, as I am sure that engine harness is quite different.
