SD56 Discussion starter. 41 posts · Joined 2022. #1 · Oct 7, 2022. I have the Glock 43X MOS (new shooter, purchased with edc in mind) and am finding it a bit snappy due to some arthritis. I've seen a few things about replacing the stock guide rod with steel or tungsten to reduce recoil a bit.

On 3 of these mags i have +5 extensions. I have heard of some issues with some of the gen 2s but remember lemons get out in every company. I believe in giving them an opportunity to fix the issue before making a final judgement on the mags. Hold the pistol normal, and release the slide from slide lock. The release lever is (should) be under tension, and slightly difficult to release. Now hold the pistol and manipulate the slide back every so slightly with one hand. Barely touch the slide release with the other. It should fall right down.G43 feeding problem solved. My G43 would at times not feed ammo into the chamber. The ammo would just nose dive into the feedramp, it only occurred with defensive ammo. So I sent my 3 G43 magazines stamped 01 back to Glock. I had read on here that they could be the problem.

Every other glock I've owned has chambered rounds perfectly fine right out of the box, so I'm not too sure what it could be. I've put about 150 rounds through it so far and I'm still having this issue. The other problem I'm having is that out of those 150 rounds, about 12 or 13 of them didn't eject right.

I just purchased a new Glock 43 in November. My problem is with an unloaded magazine in the gun if I pull the slide all the way to open locked position I can't close slide. It won't release by pushing the slide stop lever or pulling back a little more on the slide and releasing. 43x Problems I just bought a 43x and with less than 30 rounds put through it, it struggles to extract the casing. I had 2 instances where the extractor would hold the casing and the only way it would come out is by forcing it out.

Jan 25, 2024 · If you file too much, the SSL may not be actuated when the magazine is empty. Replace the weak spring that came with the aftermarket SSL with the spring on the OEM SSL. That beefier spring on the OEM SSL (Part # 47877 lever marked "47876" or Part # 33731 lever marked "33730-1" in case of the G43) will work much better. I love my Glock 43x! The only problem I have had, was the ejector cracked when it was fairly new (less than 70 rounds through it). The range master and gunsmith were shocked that it happened.
