The trigger assy is similar to a Rem 1100. The parts look a little different, but do work the same way. You say the bolt will not stay back.The Trap Model was returned to the general listing by 1954 as the Target Grade. The Skeet Grade was discontinued after 1954. ****In 1974, Ithaca tried a design change in the shell stop system, which proved to be faulty. You have to push the carrier release each time. However, it should extract shell from chamber every time, and not double feed. May be a problem there.
