NYCTA and MaBSTOA cards work only on NYCTA subways and New York City buses. Now if i put my pass in on a MTA Bus or LI bus it comes up as invalid card and we are to pay the fare but we give each other courtesy rides.I was also told that MTA bus epic pass don't work on Subways and i know for sure they don't work on NYCTA bus.

They said the process takes bout 1-3 months b/w testing and the practical exam but I'm going on 7 months without hearing anything.One thing you gotta look out for in the MaBSTOA/MTA Bus test is that they may stick you into MTA Bus which pays $20-21 an hr for new hires whereas OA gets the same starting pay as TA.
