I'm running the emulator on windows 11 on the deck. The yuzu on windows works way better than the steam deck Linux version in the games that I've tested. On the windows version all the mirrors and reflective surfaces work perfectly, on the Linux version they're all glitched out still.My new goto-solution to run anything as a non-Steam game is this: Create a Windows shortcut (in a Steam specific folder to keep my desktop and start menu clean) Add a new game by browsing to [Windows folder]\explorer.exe. If I'm not mistaken, it actually points to the .sh scrip[t which in turn opens Yuzu. The script is better than pointing directory to the app; as it will check if you have an EA version and open that instead when/if applicable. I also have been able to add code to the script so it backs up my saves to a zip file when I open Yuzu. Map F11 to any back button. Open yuzu in desktop mode then go to emulation, configure hotkeys, assign a keyboard key (F on L5 for me) to exit Fullscreen then in game mode, controller config, assign key you have assigned in desktop mode to desired back button.
